Since 1975, The BSOM at ECU has had as its central mission to produce primary care physicians for the region of Eastern NC. We combine the resources of an academic health center with the close personal relationships found in a community setting serving a rural population. Our program emphasizes experiences in Evidence Based Medicine, Sports Medicine, Women’s Health, Procedural Skills and Geriatrics.
