A community based program in a city of 60,000 30 minutes from Houston, the fourth largest USA city. Very qualified, experienced faculty with a variety of procedural competencies. All but two faculty do maternity care and four perform cesarean sections. Flexible curriculum tailored to personal interests in collaboration with faculty advisor. As residents cover the entire hospital, skills are maintained over the spectrum from maternity care to ICU.
