A major focus of the Department involves the practice and teaching of the Information Mastery paradigm; a methodology that enables clinicians to utilize the best possible medical information to benefit patients, patients' families and the community. Another focus of the Program is what we call the Collaborative Care model. This means that a behavioralist accompanies, or is on call for physicians as they see patients in the Family Practice Center.
