Many med students begin their careers with the dream of a rural FP but often their vision fades in the urban & large hosp training progs. The WVU Rural FM Res at Harpers Ferry is specially designed to nurture & educate residents in the unique rural setting of the Eastern Panhandle of WV. Our goal is to impart in our grads the professional & social skills needed to successfully practice in a rural small town setting with confidence.
