This fully accredited, unopposed community hospital based program stresses self sufficiency in the practice of high quality family medicine in rural areas. Rotations with rural family physicians and a rural general surgeon are integrated into the curriculum. Excellent training is provided with all specialties represented on the clinical faculty. Residents obtain procedural training in colonoscopy, EGD, obstetrics and general surgery.
