Hospital Medical Staff, Liaison Between Governing Boards and

The AAFP believes that physicians who are elected or appointed by a medical staff to a hospital board of trustees or governing board, and who are granted full voting rights, are the most effective liaisons between the medical staff and hospital governing authorities.
