The American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP) believes that all people should have access to essential health care services, regardless of their immigration status. Migrant and seasonal workers provide essential services in the U.S. and their health and well-being should be important to physicians and the public. The AAFP encourages family physicians to become aware of the health and health care issues faced by seasonal and migrant workers and solutions that address their unique needs and situations.
