    Description

Avista Adventist Hospital and St. Anthony North Hospital partner to offer a one year fellowship in maternal-child health, specifically to prepare family medicine graduates in advanced obstetrical skills, including surgical delivery, and newborn resuscitation. The fellows spend one half time at Avista Adventist Hospital in labor and delivery, and the other half of their time in continuity clinic, elective, and precepting in the residency. Medicine skills are maintained with 5 weeks of inpatient attending with the residents at St. Anthony North. Call is taken at both Avista and St. Anthony North. Continuity clinic selections include a Community Health Center, a full spectrum private practice or the St. Anthony North clinic. Applications are accepted from all graduates of ACGME/AOA accredited family medicine programs
