    Program Description

    The MedStar Health Georgetown University (D.C.) Family Medicine Residency Program leverages the academic advantages of Georgetown University and the connections of the MedStar Health GME consortium to provide outstanding community-based care with a focus on eliminating health inequities. The capital region's culturally diverse population and our program's emphasis on interprofessional care provides the ideal setting for learning Family Medicine. The curriculum is rich in community engagement, ambulatory procedures and behavioral science. The humane call system also allows for your enjoyment of Washington's many resources.
