    Program Description

We use a team concept with busy inpatient assignments during the 2 week rotations on the inpatient service. We utilize a mini block system of two week rotations. The inpatient team includes interdisciplinary team members of Faculty, Residents and Students from TTUHSC School of Pharmacy. We offer pediatric inpatient and outpatient experience, and rural rotations with the rural experience at Hereford Regional Medical Center. We are an unopposed residency program at our local BSA hospital. We rotate with other residencies at Northwest Texas Hospital (Internal Medicine, OB-GYN and Pediatrics.) We also have structured clinic times and scheduled procedure clinics in the Family Medicine outpatient clinic. We also offer structured didactic lectures and board review specific training with hands-on practice at our state of the art Simulation Center. We also offer CME time, Step 3/Level 3 exam days and reimbursement for exam fees.
