Program Description
Since 1970, the St. Anthony North Family Medicine Residency Program develops bright, compassionate physicians. We emphasize a balanced approach to inpatient and outpatient medicine, prioritizing physician well-being to ensure optimal patient care across all ages, families, and illnesses. Our academic mission centers on adult learning, where residents, faculty, and staff collaboratively deliver world-class care, fostering essential Family Physician skills. This is supported by regular didactics, one-on-one mentoring, community preceptors, and evidence-based clinical application. Dedicated hospital staff and a large, diverse patient base provide extensive training opportunities, including obstetrics. Our program offers balanced call schedules and individualized attention, preparing graduates for successful careers in diverse settings nationwide, from full-scope traditional Family Medicine to specialty practices and underserved community healthcare.
