    Program Description

    Carilion Clinic Family Medicine Residency, a 10/10/10 dually accredited MD/DO program, is a dynamic, nationally respected teaching program affiliated with the University of Virginia and Virginia Tech Carilion Medical School. We are ACGME accredited with Osteopathic Recognition. For over 50 years, we have provided quality medical care to the people of southwest Virginia while preparing the family practice leaders of tomorrow. Our hospital and residency are in the top 10% nationally in the use of electronic medical records and other information systems in providing excellent resident education and patient care.
