    Program Description

    We are proud of the Family Medicine Residency Program we've developed at Memorial University Medical Center in Savannah. This is an exciting time for our program. As the healthcare system in this country continues to evolve, it is becoming increasingly clear that there are many places for family medicine physicians. We provide opportunities for residents to pursue their personal passions, but they can also be trained to graduate as excellent full-scope family physicians. Whether your passion is family medicine, sports medicine, or maternity care, you can develop your skills here. You will be able to secure a position as a family medicine physician doing inpatient and outpatient medicine; as a hospitalist or strictly an outpatient provider. You can continue your training in a post-residency fellowship. Or, you can find a job in academic education. Our program trains you for all of these options.
