    Program Description

We are the Navy's Family Medicine training site in sunny Southern California, 38 miles north of downtown San Diego. We are situated on the Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, the Corps' largest West Coast expeditionary training facility. Thirteen residents train at each year level. We offer an outstanding environment for Family Medicine. As the only residency in the facility, our interns and residents benefit fully from teaching opportunities. We are also the host program for the Navy's Sports Medicine Fellowship. We only accept Active Duty Navy personnel who enter Naval Service via the Health Professions Scholarship Program.
