Program Description

Long Beach Memorial FMR is located in California and is an affiliate of UC Irvine. We pride ourselves in providing excellent, well-rounded education in a pleasant and supportive surrounding. Residents are involved in the day-to-day function of the program as well as being a creative force in its growth. Long Beach Memorial Medical Center’s outstanding record of innovation, medical advances and national recognition is a source of comfort and pride to the community it serves. The Buffum Medical Pavilion adjacent to Long Beach Memorial Medical Center houses the family medicine residency program. Residents and program faculty see their patients in this state-of-the-art facility. Our patient population is diverse in ethnicity, age and payor mix.
