Program Description
Located on the shores of Lake Superior, our program educates compassionate, skilled physicians who are well prepared to practice family medicine - including OB. Our training includes high volume, high-risk obstetrics with the option of additional C-section training; outstanding adult medicine and pediatrics inpatient experience; two nationally recognized health systems with hospitals that are regional Level I & Level II trauma centers with multiple intensive-care units; and a socioeconomic diverse patient base give residents confidence for independent practice. The majority of our graduates practice in rural communities.
