    Program Description

    Welcome to the TTUHSC El Paso Family Medicine Residency Program. We have been continuously accredited since 1975 and are embedded in the community of El Paso. We are dedicated to education, patient care, and research, making an impact on the health of west Texas and beyond for 50 years. Our goal is to help our residents become the best Family Physician that they can be. Our curriculum emphasizes Family Medicine's patient-centered medical home core attributes, such as comprehensive care throughout the life cycle in the context of relationships and culture. This program provides enough flexibility to receive additional training in areas such as bi-cultural emphasis, and leadership in U.S.-Mexico border health clinical and research opportunities. Our program's graduates quickly transition into successful practitioners in any location, from rural to urban to international. You've got to check us out. The people and this place are amazing!
