    Program Description

    Bethesda Family Medicine is an energetic community-based program with an emphasis on internal medicine and pediatrics. Residents work side-by-side in the busy family medicine center with the faculty. Pediatrics is done at the world class Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center where BFM residents work together with pediatric residents. Scholarly activity is required, and much support is given to accomplish this task. We have made it possible (and will continue to do so) for residents to spend time in underserved countries such as Belize & Cuba. These amazing trips are electives and 100% paid for by the program.
