    Program Description

    CoxHealth FMR - Springfield is a thriving program that provides a full scope of family medicine experience, including operative obstetrics and training for rural practice. Twelve family physicians, a nurse practitioner, and a psychologist make up the faculty. Our healthcare system has featured EMR since 1996. Our FMC is a PCMH Level 3 clinic serving a high volume of patients with a variety of specialty clinics. The residency is unopposed in a very large medical community, and residents have exposure to high-risk OB patients, longitudinal patients, and can choose to have c-section training. Inpatient service includes pediatric, adult and ICU care. Residents enjoy a night-float call system. We enjoy a partnership with Jordan Valley Community Health Center, a Federally Qualified Health Center.
