    Program Description

    The program provides opportunities to train in diverse community settings, including rural and suburban areas. We are committed to providing care to vulnerable local, regional, and global populations in partnership with programs in the Medical College of Georgia Departments of Emergency Medicine, Hospitalist Services, and Obstetrics and Gynecology. In addition to teaching full-spectrum outpatient care, the program also offers training in point-of-care ultrasound, integrative and lifestyle medicine, and geriatrics. Our sports medicine training is supported by an accredited fellowship and includes local high school and collegiate sports coverage. We also have an ACGME accredited Osteopathic Medicine program..
