    Program Description

    The AHN Saint Vincent Hospital Family Medicine Residency in Erie, Pennsylvania, has a 50-year history of educating family medicine residents. We are a community-based program, and our residents can access urban and rural practice sites for their education. The team approach is a foundational part of the educational process. We are particularly strong in the care of children, hospital medicine, and sports medicine. AHN Saint Vincent Hospital is a 350-bed tertiary hospital with many learning opportunities. The Erie community lies on the shores of Lake Erie and is near scenic Presque Isle, a Pennsylvania State Park with miles of beaches and outdoor recreation.
