    Program Description

    Our affiliated hospital is a Level 1 Trauma Center and our center includes minor surgery, colposcopy, stress testing, and same day emergent/urgent care. We have a moderate complexity laboratory. Our faculty are board-certified family physicians and we have a psychologist and a health coach in our Center. Our patient care emphasizes prevention and patient education, medical diagnosis, office-based procedures, practice management, and a biopsychosocial approach. The Johnson City Family Medicine Residency Program is located in a beautiful mountain area with low crime and a rising retired patient base. Opportunities abound!
