    Program Description

    We are a "1+2" Program, Year 1 in Albuquerque at the University of New Mexico and Yrs. 2 and 3 in Santa Fe. During years 2 & 3, residents are assigned to 1 of 2 continuity clinics: one is at Santa Fe's Community Health Center, La Familia Medical Center (FQHC) and the other is a hospital-based clinic. Program focuses on underserved, rural, OB, geriatrics and legislative/health policy advocacy. Specialty rotations are done in community settings. Required rotations in rural settings. International rotations are encouraged.
