Program Description
KP Woodland Hills FM Residency is an unopposed program that is affiliated with the UCLA School of Medicine. Our hand-picked faculty is approachable, energetic and enthusiastic with faculty teaching appointments through UCLA. Our focus is academic excellence through extensive didactic lectures, full spectrum patient care, and one-on-one teaching with attendings. Throughout their training, residents care for underserved patients in the 4 different free clinics that our program serves. We have strong outpatient procedural and dermatology training with dedicated resident procedure and dermatology clinics. We have a good balance between inpatient and outpatient training and our residents are well prepared to independently take care of the most complex patients. Residents have flexibility in their elective time and opportunities to pursue research, advocacy, health policy and global health interests. Individualized mentorship allows our residents to achieve their diverse career goals.
