    Program Description

    Located in one of the most scenic and culturally diverse states in the country, the UNM Family Medicine program produces healthcare leaders with a passion for caring for underserved populations. Residents graduate prepared for a variety of career paths: ranging from caring for urban populations, to rural broad-spectrum Family Medicine. The UNM residency has a particular focus on community health and engagement, obstetrics, and the social determinants of health.
