    Program Description

    Our fully accredited, community-based residency program has been in operation since 1984. We offer six positions annually with a goal of providing a vigorous training curriculum that will enable our graduates to practice in any geographical area with a special emphasis on under served locations. During the past several years, we have redesigned our program to incorporate the New Model of practice from the Future of Family Medicine. In doing so, we recruited diverse faculty with strong backgrounds in education, performance improvement, practice management, procedures, research and rural medicine. In addition, 2007 marked the inauguration of our Geriatric Fellowship, offering one spot annually and 2009 will mark the arrival of 3rd and 4th year medical students to our campus.
