    Program Description

    The Family Medicine Residency Program at Kaiser Permanente Los Angeles Medical Center is a well established (since 1972) and respected urban program based at the tertiary care academic hospital with an emphasis on leadership development, clinical excellence, and community service. Upon graduation our residents are confident and compassionate family physician leaders. Our residents are highly recruited for fellowship, faculty, and employment positions of their choice. We are the parent program for the following fellowships: Sports Medicine, Geriatric Medicine, Hospice & Palliative Medicine, and Community Medicine.
