Program Description
The Magic Valley Rural Program (RTP) in Twin Falls and Jerome, Idaho, is a branch of the main Family Medicine Residency of Idaho Program in Boise, Idaho designed especially for broad-spectrum rural family medicine training. The Magic Valley RTP has been established in the Twin Falls/Jerome area of Idaho, known as the “Magic Valley” because of the support of the medical community and the extremely broad training that is able to be offered there. Residents will become a member of the physician team serving the rural community of Jerome while having the benefit of rotations with specialists in the referral community of Twin Falls, located only fifteen miles away. The flexibility and adaptation of this program to both the professional and personal needs of the residents is aimed to achieve the balance necessary to make well-prepared, fulfilled family physicians.
