    Program Description

    The Promedica Monroe FM Residency Program is a unopposed community-based program that commenced July 2013. Our program seeks to train physicians that are able to practice in any setting upon graduation. We seek to develop a well rounded family physician and provide ample elective time to allow residents to direct their learning to areas of interest. We focus on the needs of our residents and are flexible enough to respond to changing needs rapidly. Monroe is an ideally situated community with a near by large international airport and the cities or Ann Arbor, Detroit, and Toledo, OH are with 45 minutes. There is also great oppurtunities to enjoy natrual resources including the great lakes and wonderful MI state parks. We started a Women's health fellowship in 2021.
