    Program Description

    Elk Ridge Community Health is a federally qualified health center in Flagstaff, AZ serving rural and underserved communities across Northern Arizona. Our clinic experiences are built around interdisciplinary, team-oriented care in a community health center, working alongside providers and staff who are committed to serving others and caring for the whole person. As a resident you will learn to care for high-needs patients who have limited resources and limited access to care. You will have the opportunity to treat a diverse group of patients while being supported by a well-developed network of community resources. Our program emphasizes front-line full spectrum experiences in rural settings, caring for a wide spectrum of insured and uninsured patients and families. Required curricular elements include substance use disorder treatment, mental health, infectious disease (like HIV and Hepatitis C), Indigenous and Tribal healthcare, and rural remote experiences.
