    Program Description

    High-quality training in an unopposed residency program featuring a diverse faculty and innovative curriculum in Reading, PA. Residents care for a diverse, underserved population and work closely with community partners to improve local health through community medicine and research opportunities. Our program holds Osteopathic Recognition and offers a longitudinal osteopathic curriculum with dedicated faculty and hands-on OMT training. We also offer a Lifestyle Medicine curriculum, providing residents with training in evidence-based chronic disease prevention and management. Graduates are positioned to pursue Lifestyle Medicine Board Certification eligibility. Residents gain extensive adult and pediatric inpatient experience at a community hospital. As an unopposed residency, residents enjoy exceptional opportunities to develop strong inpatient skills and clinical autonomy.
