Program Description
Our resident physicians provide comprehensive medical care for many of the underserved patients in the Danville region and receive exceptional training in ambulatory and inpatient medicine. Our Family Medicine and Internal Medicine residency program directors work together to ensure that our residents do not have to compete for patients or procedures. The residency programs provide patient-centric teaching that emphasizes practice-based learning, evidence-based medicine, and professional development. Sovah FAMILY MEDICINE Residency encompasses a wide range of progressive family-centered patient care experiences. Residents care for patients of all ages with a wide breadth of acute and chronic conditions at our new state-of-the-art residency clinic in the downtown River District!
