    Program Description

    Our program is an uncontested Family Medicine program in beautiful rural Northern California. Our program is a partnership between the sponsoring institution, St. Joseph Hospital of Eureka, and the area's largest primary care provider, Open Door Community Health Centers. Our community partners also play a large role in the education of our residents. Our faculty, leaders and community are all passionate about having a program that develops excellent family medicine doctors compassionate to the need of our patients. Residents in our program can expect an unparalleled welcome from a community with an incredible amount of excitement and momentum for their arrival.
