Program Description
The Northwestern McGaw Family Medicine Residency at Delnor is set in a community hospital with a family medicine base and accepts 8 residents per year. Our residents will experience strong ambulatory training combined with an innovative longitudinal learning curriculum. Residents will have extensive experience in inpatient hospital-based care, sports medicine, palliative care and behavioral health. We promote and encourage a philosophy of lifelong learning, including scholarly activities and development of physician wellness, as well as leadership development and interprofessional team skills.
