Program Description
As a teaching health center, our training is based in our Family Medicine clinics at LifeLong Medical Care. We are a unique program embedded within our community health center, where you will learn from our medical, behavioral and dental experts. Your educational experience is supported by hospital partnerships throughout the Bay Area for in-patient rotations that augment the skills needed for out-patient primary care. You will care for a diverse patient population facing complex social and health challenges, gaining hands-on experience in integrated behavioral health, substance use disorder treatment, Integrative Medicine, HIV care and prevention, street medicine, elder care, and innovative group visit models. This dynamic setting offers a rich environment for learning and growth.
