    Program Description

    Thank you for visiting our website! We are excited that you are interested in being part of the newest Family Medicine residency in the great state of New Mexico, truly the Land of Enchantment. We are honored to join a distinguished group of programs that are training excellent family physicians for our state and the other underserved regions of the Southwest. Our vision is to deploy well trained family physicians into our own community of Alamogordo as well as the surrounding rural areas within the southern part of our state. To that end, we have assembled an enthusiastic cadre of family physicians and specialists who are committed to making your years of training fruitful and sending you into practice confident that you can provide excellent care to the patients you will encounter throughout your career.
