Program Description
Our three-year curriculum maximizes broad-spectrum clinical competence in both hospital and ambulatory medicine, with a special emphasis on behavioral health, addiction treatment, population health, rural health, and state-of-the-art technology, including point-of-care ultrasound and information technology. Our residents have access to the resources of an academic health center while also working at Saratoga Hospital, a community hospital where we are the only residency. For their continuity experience the residents see their own patients at either a community health center in Saratoga Springs, NY, or a federally qualified health center in Glens Falls, NY, where they collaborate with a care team including pharmacists, counselors, and care managers to provide comprehensive care for patients.
