Program Description
Wisconsin’s first FQHC-based Teaching Health Center. Very experienced MCW residency faculty covers the whole breadth of family medicine’s scope of practice. Community-based education in an urban underserved community, providing a balance of FQHC-based outpatient training with academic hospital inpatient experience at award-winning Froedtert Hospital and Children’s Hospital. This program is committed to addressing health disparities in Milwaukee’s North Side, with a focus on treating patients individually and the community as a whole. Areas of focus include community medicine, women's health and maternity care, addiction medicine and leadership.
