    Program Description

    The Nova Southeastern University’s Dr. Kiran C. Patel College of Osteopathic Medicine (NSU-KPCOM)- Evara Health Family Medicine Residency Program is an exciting program dedicated to the training, education and development of caring, mature, professionally competent, and family medicine board-eligible physicians. The program is based at Evara Health, a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) that has been providing affordable, primary care services to residents of Pinellas County, Florida for over 40 years. The program has 4 residents per class and is primarily focused on outpatient Community care, preparing family physicians to work in FQHCs, public health and private practice, preferably in underserved communities in the Tampa Bay area. Residents will participate in evidenced-based, patient-centered care of people with a wide scope of medical conditions in inpatient, outpatient, residential and community settings.
