Program Description
our unopposed Family Medicine Residency Program, who welcomed their first class in July of 2025, provides a comprehensive education, delivering full-scope family medicine to our diverse and underserved community. Saint Alphonsus Medical Center - Nampa is a unique training environment, with a faculty of family physicians who serve all aspects of patient care, including outpatient longitudinal care, inpatient medicine, critical care, and obstetrics. Residents also train under the guidance of specialists to gain a well-rounded education, preparing them to thrive in urban, rural, and critical access settings as independent physicians. The American College of Lifestyle Medicine residency curriculum is embedded into the resident weekly didactics. This allows for residents to complete the 24 month curriculum and sit for the ACLM certification board exam before completing residency.
