    • Classify asthma severity in infants, children, and adolescents based on National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NHLBI) guidelines.
    • Prescribe asthma controller drugs to infants, children, and adolescents in a stepwise fashion based on age and asthma severity classification.

    • Perform a sweat test for cystic fibrosis (CF) in patients of any age with signs and/ or symptoms consistent with CF, regardless of whether newborn screening results were negative.
