Tar Wars Program Information for Teachers
Tar Wars is a tobacco-free education program four fourth- and fifth-grade students. The program is designed to teach kids about the short-term, image-based consequences of tobacco use, the cost associated with using tobacco products, and the advertising techniques used by the tobacco industry to market their products to youth.
Bring Tar Wars to Your School
Request a presentation for your school or classroom. Your request will be sent to your state coordinator, who may have a list of potential presenters in your area. Send an email request to tarwars@aafp.org.
