Motivational Interviewing for Substance Use Disorders” ” Module 4 of 4 in the Community First Responder Program

URI has created a Community First Responder program to educate rural communities about substance use disorder and opioid misuse, and provide resources to these communities to help address opioid misuse. This program builds on URI's expertise and existing connections to the rural community, offering modules related to understanding substance use disorder and opioid misuse, including recognizing the signs, understanding addiction and vulnerability of individuals, and ways to decrease exposure.
