Approximately 1 in 5 children has a diagnosable mental health disorder at any given time. Family physicians and pediatricians are an important resource for parents and families to discuss their child's emotional development and mental health. This conference is hosted by the Maryland Behavioral Health Integration in Pediatric Primary Care (BHIPP) program. Topics include the identification and treatment of anxiety disorders, depression, and ADHD, including parent management strategies.
