CAFP's Family Medicine Initiative on Trauma-Informed Care (FIT) activity consists of three parts designed to introduce clinicians to the concepts of toxic stress and Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) as they relate to trauma-informed care. In part 1, participants will learn about the fundaments of ACEs. In part 2, participants will learn patient-physician communication tools and clinical best practices. In part 3, learners will be presented with a case study and resources.
