• About ACLF: FAQs

    April 29-May 1, 2021 (preconference April 28)

    Who can participate in ACLF?

ACLF is a great orientation for emerging leaders who serve, or who are interested in serving on chapter boards, while chapter presidents, presidents-elect, and chapter executives are strongly encouraged to attend. Many chapter staff participate in a wide range of sessions.

When should I plan to attend virtually?

Get the all-out ACLF experience by attending the preconference session on Wednesday, April 28 starting at 1:00 p.m. During the afternoon sessions on Wednesday, ACLF chapter roundtables will focus on sharing best practices and challenges among chapters. Then,  customize your educational agenda with a variety of sessions and networking opportunities on Thursday and Friday, ending with the final ACLF breakout sessions on governance topics  on Saturday, May 1 at 9:15 a.m.

Can I earn CAE or CME credit?

The Annual Chapter Leader Forum (ACLF) track fulfills the professional development requirements to earn or maintain the Certified Association Executive (CAE) credential. ACLF participants may claim credits toward their CAE application or renewal professional development requirements.

In addition, by attending any of the breakout sessions, you may claim Enrichment CME credit on an hour-for-hour basis.

What can I expect from ACLF?

ACLF encourages participants to make connections and share ideas, learn new strategies and techniques to succeed, and engage in important dialogue about chapters.
