KC Streetcar - It's Free to Ride!
Running from the River Market on the north end to Union Station and Crown Center on the south, KC Streetcar(kcstreetcar.org) connects all the downtown neighborhoods with 16 platform stops and 2 miles of track.
The KC Streetcar will be the most frequent transit service in the region, with streetcars running every 10 minutes during peak weekday periods. During the remainder of the week, streetcars will run every 12 to 18 minutes. Hours of operation are:
- Monday: Thursday: 6 a.m. – Midnight
- Friday: 6 a.m. – 2 a.m.
- Saturday: 7 a.m. – 2 a.m.
- Sunday: 7 a.m. – 11 p.m.
Kansas City B-Cycle(kansascity.bcycle.com) is a bicycle rental service designed for short trips around downtown. Self-service bike stations are located throughout the downtown area, from the River Market to Crown Center. Bikes can be rented between 5 a.m. and midnight, and can be returned to any station that has an open dock.
Cost: $3 for 30 minutes; $7 for 24 hours.

Kansas City’s MAX bus service operates along the Main Street corridor, from the River Market through downtown, past Union Station and Crown Center, and south to the Country Club Plaza. Hours of operation are 5:00 a.m. - 1:00 a.m., seven days a week.
