Jennifer Edgoose, MD, MPH

Associate Professor, Department of Family Medicine and Community Health (DFMCH), University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health (UWSMPH), Madison

Dr. Edgoose earned her medical degree and Master of Public Health (MPH) degree from Columbia University in New York City, and completed her family medicine residency at the University of Washington, Seattle. She practiced family medicine for more than 10 years at Community Health Care, a federally qualified health center (FQHC) in Tacoma, Washington. Currently, she is the director of the DFMCH Office of Community Health; chair of the DFMCH Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee; and director of the UWSMPH Diversity and Inclusion Advocate Program. In addition, she is a member of the Health Equity Team for Family Medicine for America’s Health, a strategic planning body helping shape the future of family medicine nationally. She focuses on caring for vulnerable populations, promoting health equity and community engagement, and finding ways to bridge difference.
