Leo Lamsen, MD, FAAFP

Dr. Lamsen completed a family medicine residency and an emergency medicine fellowship at UTMC in Knoxville, where he currently practices. Since becoming an emergency medicine fellowship director in 2012, he has had increased interest in point-of-care ultrasound and has completed additional training to become a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS). Previously, Dr. Lamsen served as chair of the AAFP’s Emergency Medicine/Urgent Care Member Interest Group (MIG). He is currently working on a Master of Education degree at UT.
