W. Ryan Neuhofel, DO, MPH

Family physician, NeuCare, Lawrence, Kansas; President, Direct Primary Care Alliance

Dr. Neuhofel earned a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree from the University of Kansas and a medical degree from Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences in Missouri. In 2011, he completed a family medicine residency at the University of Kansas Health System. Following residency, he opened one of the nation’s first direct primary care (DPC) practices. This practice has grown to serve a diverse group of patients in an innovative model. He has been an active leader in the DPC movement. In addition to lecturing and serving as an expert on DPC for national media outlets, he recently helped found the Direct Primary Care Alliance and serves as its president.
